Composition and care

At Savage Club, we make use of high-quality genuine leather, usually Italian or Spanish. To learn more about our leather click here.

For the hardware, we use 24-karat gold-plated brass hardware. Except for our dark hardware, which is zinc-coated.

 

Natural Features of Leather:

•   As it is a natural material, leather may absorb natural oils from the skin which can darken the backing or leave stains.

•   Leather may also change shape over time with use.

•   Long fur pieces are the most vulnerable to damage and hair may change direction due to friction.

•  Every leather piece is unique and may have color variations and natural scratches. Note that shades may vary due to the natural tanning process.

 

After Care Tips:

•   Avoid contact with water, chemicals, and sharp objects.

•   If you need to clean the garment, use a cotton cloth or spot clean with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not soak the piece and let it air dry completely.

•   For fur pieces, avoid friction.

•   To prevent deformational damage, do not store the pieces in tight spaces or fasten.

•   Store the pieces in a cool dry place to maintain the leather in a good state and avoid tarnishing of hardware.
